Greatscoot
Hi, new to Launchbox. Just started setting it up, and everything is working great except for this pause menu. In Dolphin, it doesn't show onscreen unless I alt+enter and leave fullscreen. When I do push the hotkey I've followed the steps in this post, but didn't fix it. It also doesn't show Save/Load State in my pause menu on Dolphin. Dolphin solution: Make sure to use Direct3D11 in Dolphin graphics settings! EDIT: New issue! As far as Cemu, I've made sure they're on fullscreen, and have changed video renderer from vulkan to opengl, no changes. Just can't access the pause menu at all. Even when out of fullscreen. Greatscoot
I ended last night after trying to toggle the settings in that thread again, change video renderer, and even checked if my g-sync 170hz monitor was messing something up. No luck, same issue.
Greatscoot
Okay apparently I lied. I was setting up Smash Bros Melee with Slippi, when I noticed that... the pause menu works!? So I compared both settings, and noticed it was using Direct3D11, instead of what my main Dolphin is using, Vulkan. Switched to Direct3D11, resolved the problem instantly! Now if only I can get Cemu to work... 🤔Any ideas? I'm going to change the topic name to reflect this. Edited June 14, 2023 by Greatscoot Figured out Yuzu problem, my Game Controller was not set to use the Switch controller in Launchbox. skizzosjt
my experience suggests the extra hoops you're jumping through here are unnecessary. worst case scenario is you would need to enable checkbox "forceful Pause Screen activation" under the pause screen settings. Do you have that enabled when you do run into issues with the Pause Screen showing up?
