MK64
I'm brand new to using Launchbox and emulating in general. So please know that I understand practically nothing about this stuff, but I'm trying. I'm trying to figure out the best setup to maximize performance by having Launchbox run off my SSD but to have the roms and all other files (including themes and data from emumovies) on either my HDD or an external drive. Is this even possible? If so, where do I go in Launchbox to set that up? It isn't a prompt in the import wizard, so I'm at a bit of a loss. Lordmonkus
In Launchbox you can right click the platform on the left hand side and edit, from there you can change the paths to the different media types. For games, just put them where you want them to be and when importing them tell Launchbox to leave them instead of moving or copying. I started out installing Launchbox on the HDD not thinking about how that would likely affect performance. Can I cut/paste the Launchbox file folder from the HDD onto the SSD? Or do I need to do a fresh install? (I'd already imported a big chunk of the roms, so I'd prefer not to start over if there's a way to just move the program to the SSD) Edited June 27, 2023 by MK64
