Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Although the playlists are present, the gray boxes (in the default theme) are empty. The games themselves exist, but the gray box is also empty.

Not sure what gray boxes you are talking about. The game box art I assume? Also are you talking about in LB or BB? Might be helpful to see a pic of what you are talking about.
