gorevan
I have recently added a few more emulators to my setup within Launchbox/Big Box however Sega Genesis is the only one I am having issues with. Any time I try to launch a game using BlastEm within Launchbox I get this error. Fatal Error: Unrecognized switch -auto It works fine when launching directly from the .exe file itself only within Launchbox is when I get the problem occuring. neil9000
Im a little confused by your thread title as its mentions Dreamcast, so im gonna ignore that and assume its a mistake. As for the error -auto is that command there for that emulator in the manage emulator screen for blastem? if so simply remove it and try again. Dimatoid
Not sure if you ever resolved this, but I just had the same issue and managed to fix it so here you go: Go to Tools > Manage > Emulators... Select Associated Platforms on the left hand side. Find Sega Genesis (I assume you meant this console), and clear the Default Command-Line Parameters. Hit OK and it should work now. Bio Griswold
I was having the same issue with BlastEm and found another way to fix it. I had to open up "Emulators.xml" in the Data folder. For me, on line 469 (under the second result when you search for "Sega Genesis") is the following code: Quote <CommandLine>-gen -auto -fullscreen</CommandLine> I just erased the "-auto", saved the .xml, and then everything booted up properly.
