Game Screenshots Not Showing in BigBOX

I have been using Launchbox for years & the screenshots (gameplay, title etc) have always displayed OK.

I recently upgraded to BigBOX to eventually play the games on a TV.
- With all the Themes I've tried (including the default), screenshots do not display below the box art. 
- They only appear for a second while spinning & then disappear.
- This occurs for all games & all consoles.
- I do not have any videos installed for any of the games.
- It happens the same on both my Windows PC, and two Windows 11 PCs

I know this is a bit late for this post but I could not find a post anywhere that showed a resolution for this.  I found a solution that fixed a similar problem for me.  Within BigBox options under video, Set playback engine to VLC and Toggle off Use Game Background Videos.  I was getting the issue where screenshots in particular wouldn't load within bigbox but worked fine in Launchbox desktop views.  This fixed it on two of my machines for me.  Hope this helps.

I'm returning to the default theme on a tablet for performance reasons and I'm noticing that screenshots don't show up... anywhere.

I've even tried deleting the settings xml files... and... nothing?

Edit: I forgot to re-enable gameplay screenshots in the priorities list after doing some media updates, so that fixed it.

Edit 2: No, it didn't. It only got them to appear in LaunchBox and not in BigBox.

I've tested with 12.9 and 12.16 and neither the Default or the Old Default themes will show screenshots and it also appears that some other elements might be affected, because in the Old Default theme they appear as single pixels of different colors.

I don't know if it would make any difference, but I downloaded the media using 13.26 - but BigBox is too slow using that version. The screenshots work just fine in the custom theme I built using the CTC years ago.

Edit3: I was finally able to restore BigBox in 12.x versions to functionality through a series of fresh installs and selective copying of data files from my 13.26 install:

Playlists/
Emulators.xml
Parents.xml
Platforms.xml
Settings.xml
