Running Windows using Parallels Desktop

Hi I am using Windows 11 running through Parallels Desktop on Mac.

I have downloaded Supermodel and Sega Model 3 UI. I have set up the UI however when I double click on a game I want to play, the screen just flickers and that's it. I have correctly set the roms folder.

Does anyone know of compatibility issues with Parallels, it being a Windows virtual machine.

Thanking you in advance.

This would be better suited to ask on the supermodel3 forums.  Since it's their emulator and their user-created UI.  Their site is currently down, but you may be able to ask on their Discord page.  (the site will hopefully be back up in the next few days)

If you're trying to launch Model 3 games from LaunchBox, you definitely don't want to have 'Sega Model 3 UI.exe' in the mix.  You'd launch the ROM through the emulator just like most other emulators via LaunchBox.

That all said, can you start a game directly?  That is, from the command prompt or a batch file.  The command is simply:

Supermodel "D:\roms\Sega Model 3\daytona.zip"

Of course, change the path to where your ROMS are actually located and the game (zip file) that you want to run.

You may also want to look at the "Supermodel.log" file that's created when starting a game.
