MAME does not show as an assosciated Platform in Retroarch settings of LB

As the title said, I am trying to use Retroarch to launch my mame files but I cannot assosciate them with retroarch because it does not show in the supported platforms. Maybe I botched something in the installation process? Cannot seem to figure this out or find anything to help, sorry that its probably a silly question with a simple fix but I've exhausted all search options.

And before it gets posted, I do not have the box checked to unpack roms in the settings/details tab

Mame is not a platform, Arcade is and if it's not there you can add it or any other platform name you wish.
