How long does the E-mail link take?

I sent the request about an hour ago, and still nothing in my inbox.  Tried a different e-mail address and still nothing,  I'm using firefox as a browser and a GMail account. Thanks.

Additionally when I set up my account to post this.I got a confirmation email immediately
