Marky161
Hi all, A very happy Launch Box / Big Box user and wanted to check if I'm doing things the right way or not? Currently in the process to make Big Box a stand alone in my Micro Centre Atari Fightstick controller, and am using the City Hunter theme. I can see that it uses the Meta information for a pictured tagged as "Fanart - Background" as the game menu backdrop when scrolling through the available games. However, is there is a way to copy an existing image which is downloaded and tagged (for example "Advertisement - Front") from within the Media window, rather than force download an existing image and retag as "Fanart - Background". Hope that makes sense?
C-Beats
So you're wanting the same image to be used as both? That'd require you grabbing the same file and tagging one as Advertisement Front, and the other as background. Alternatively (and what I'd recommend) is that inside of LaunchBox you go to Tools > Options and change the Background Image Priorities to just include Advertisement - Front (and make it the bottom most priority). This would then make the app use the image you already have AS a background if it couldn't find anything else.
Marky161
Thanks for the potential workaround. Essentially I don’t know if I had to download the image again, or if I’d missed a ‘Copy Image’ context menu somewhere. Would be great also to have Forward < / back > buttons at the bottom of the Meta view if you’re doing a cleanup exercise, rather than having to close the dialogue box and reopen on the next game…
