Big Box Question.

Is it possible to load Big Box independently from LaunchBox? I assume it has it's own .exe file, or do I need to load it from inside LaunchBox? 

With the regular license or forever-updates license, I assume you can use all themes for LB/BB?

Yes. It has it's own exe and you can load from within LB. You can also be in BB and select the option to close BB and open into LB.
