wglong
I've added my roms to LaunchBox but now I want to go back and compress some of them to CHD and other emulator supported compression. The file extension is going to change on these roms (i.e .iso to .chd). How do I tell LaunchBox the file extension has changed without removing and adding back these roms? JoeViking245
There's a plugin that'll do all that for you...
wglong
Thank you! I've had launchbox from almost the beginging and somehow have missed that it has PlugIns! I'm gessing there's no way to update Launchbox if I already have converted my roms to compressed outside of Launchbox and the old uncompressed ones are still assocated with Launchbox. Looks like I either use this plugin or remove the old roms and add the newly compressed ones. Correct?
JoeViking245
Another way to 'update your ROMs' in LaunchBox is to edit the ../Data/Platforms/platform_name.xml file and do a Find/Replace to change all .cue to .chd. Just make sure LaunchBox is closed and done saving any data in the background, before editing.
