2dguy Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 I'm an old school flash developer and I'd love to show off my games on my personal arcade running LB/BB. Fingers crossed... but is there a 100% fool proof way to play flash games via LB? If so, I would greatly appreciate any details how to do so. Thank you. Quote
C-Beats Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 You'd want to look up a project called "Flashpoint". They curate the flash games and have their own launcher for them. I believe on our forums we have users that created a plugin or some sort of process to bring a Flashpoint library into their LB installs, but it's not a project I follow real close to know all the details of. I'd grab Flashpoint and see if it'll do what you want, then search our forums for the same name and you should be able to figure something out. 1 Quote
Mr. Shizzy Posted May 8, 2024 Posted May 8, 2024 (edited) Yes. First download and install this: https://archive.org/details/flashplayer_old Then download and install this: https://web.archive.org/web/20220401020702/https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/32/flashplayer_32_sa.exe And you're set to go. Just got it up and running on my Windows 11 setup. I wanted to add the old Flash Game Breakfast Brawl to my launchbox build. Mission accomplished! Edited May 8, 2024 by Mr. Shizzy Quote
Mr. Shizzy Posted May 8, 2024 Posted May 8, 2024 Set Flash Player as the emulator. Load swf files as roms. In "manage emulators" go into flash player, and paste this into "running script" Sleep, 1000 ;waits 1 seconds Send {Ctrl Down}{f}{Ctrl Up} $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } That will make the games fullscreen, and allow you to exit the game with the Escape key. Hope that helps Quote
