Can I disable the new version popup during big box startup

Hello, I'm using Big Box on a windows 7 machine.  Im unable to upgrade to the latest version of big box because it didnt work with my windows 7.   Is there a way to disable the "new version" popup that appears at the start of big box? so that i can skip that at each loadup.

Yes, turn off updates in LB completely.  The LB setting should stop notices in BB as well.
