Gamepad won't work for Arcade games

Hey everyone, I am fairly new to Launchbox and I have a question. I use an Xbox controller for windows 11 and it works great with console games and computer games but for some reason it doesn't work for any Arcade game in that category. Any thoughts?

What emulator are you using for Arcade games and did you go into the emulator directly and make sure the controller is mapped for in game controls?
