ruvelro
Hello. I wanted to know if it is possible to change the default path of the Launchbox roms. By default, LB is set to save games to /Games/Console, but I have it on another drive, R:/Roms. I've never cared too much, since every time I've imported a platform, I've done so pointing to that directory. But now, with the feature of automatically importing roms, it searches only in the default directory i.e. /Games/. Can I change it so that the default path is the R:/Roms drive, and does auto-import from that directory work? Thanks.
Retro808
In LB right click on a platform name and edit it. In the "Folders" tab the game rom path is the first item. Change the location there.

No. You have to edit each one by one and can only be set when a platform is added.

Zakiu
Unfortunately this method won't work well for game files in "subfolders" Edited March 15 by Zakiu
Job76
I did not know that I could change the path, so I used a windows extension "link shell extension" to pick link source and drop it as a symbolic link. That way I can take the folder directly from ROM-vault and link it to LB, or the other way around. Since LB 13.11 seemed to detect the real path, but ROM-vault did not. But both ways seems to work. In LB 13.12 I took the auto-created game folders and created symbolic links in ROM-vault (and you can rename the link, so they do not need the same name). Some larger ISO-files like Saturn games are placed on an external drive, and then I link it to my SSD, so both ways does work. By doing it this way you do not need to change anything in the default LB installation... Edited March 21 by Job76
