TRJ-GA
I started my build around 2018. I took off 4 years due to life and now just getting back to putting my system in a cab this year and updating every thing. I'm loving all the features, especially the ability to have manuals which is a big one for me. In fact the features available in 2018 made me jump ship on my build from some other front-ends. The developers have really done fantastic with Launchbox/Bigbox. One thing I'd like to be able to do (and not sure if the feature is available in some way, but IF IT IS NOT, I would like to add as a suggestion to the developers) is as follows: For many games I have additional documentation I'd like to attach but not necessarily include in the manuals themselves. I generally keep thin in a "Files to compliment play" folder for certain things I would like to access during play if I need. For instance, maps, hints, save codes, copy protection wheels/tables or other similar documentation. To add the ability to add additional documentation (and multiple documents if possible) and create your own heading/label for each file would be nice. One example is I have several maps for slimeworld (lynx version). I believe I have a total of 6 maps. Therefore the ability to add multiple documents and of different types would be helpful. I don't mind if these are in pdf only as I can convert my files as necessary. These would ideally appear just below the manual link/section as "supplemental docs". The front end is working so well in all other areas I think this is all I need to round out my build! Many thanks for any explanations if this can already be done and/or considerations of this as a new features if not. Respectfully, TRJ-GA
Retro808
Additional documents is already possible. When you edit a game there is a section called "Additional Apps". You can add those files there and name them as you want. You point to the specific file so these documents can be located in any folder you want. If they are in pdf these files will also be viewable in Pause Themes. The additional apps field allows you some flexibility to in how/when the items can be opened. So this area can be useful in other ways than just showing additional documents.
TRJ-GA
Wow...use of this for such items is not self-intuitive. However I just populated a description and link to PDF file and it worked like a charm!!! Thanks a million!
