TECHNOROGERIO
Hi guys. I downloaded a pack of MAME 0.240 ROMs, added the ROMs as a Complete MAME ROM Pack, but Retroarch didn't show up as the default emulator option. So, I went to manage emulators, Retroarch, edit, and added Arcade in associated platforms. However, even after changing the core to some related to MAME, the games don't open. Is the problem related to missing BIOS files or how do I solve this?
Retro808
There could be a couple different issues depending on how you actually imported the games. When you did import the roms what emulator did you assign since you mentioned RA was not an option? Once imported the games will be attached to that emulator. So even though you changed the "Default" after the import it would not change it on the games already imported. Right click a game and edit it. Go to the Emulation tab and see what emulator is listed. Also, if using Retroach Mame core you need to make sure in the Manage Emulator screen for Retroarch the option on the Details tab for "Extract Rom Archive" is not checked as Mame roms need to stay zipped.
