Hey,

I am deleting a few games from my LaunchBox (mame games). The game files have been deleted as well. After a while I notice that the games are getting back into the games list.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

This almost always happens when people have files that don't belong in \\LaunchBox\Data\Platforms folder. There should be a single file per platform named the same as the platform in question. There shouldn't be any files that say "-backup" or "-copy" or anything like that in that folder.

Thanks! You were right, it was that.
I think the cause of that was running "skraper" (https://www.skraper.net/) to get data from ScreenScraper.

Thanks!

Btw, I wanted to write a plugin for ScreenScraper for LB (that's before I found skraper), but I didn't see any plugin interface for media scraper. Any plans to do that?

You could do so as a Menu Item plugin but you'd have to make all your own UI for it. Now that we've gotten the skeleton for a much more robust plugin system in place I'm sure in the future we'll be adding several new types of plugins with better integration that we didn't have previously. Can't really give any sort of estimation if or when a dedicated scraping plugin would be created though as that call is quite a bit above my paygrade.
