Kevina555
Hello, I downloaded some Mame roms. I tried it on Mame directly and it's working fine. I'm using Mame 0.268. It's not a fullset since i didn't find one. I tried to import the roms manualy in launchbox but it doesn't work. Launchbox found the games, did the import, displayed the box but the game doesn't start when i'm tryingt to launch it. I guess that it doesn't find the complementary roms (m1comm.zip, model1io2.zip etc.). Do you have any clue on the way the fix it please ? By the way, pleasuredome is up but i don't think it's possible to download anything from it (doesn't work). Do you have an advice on where to find the fullsets ? Thanks a lot, Kevin

Thanks a lot, Kevin LB does not care about the other Mame files. Mame cares about those. If you games run fine directly in Mame and not in LB then it is a LB setting. Are you using standalone Mame or using the Mame core of Retroarch? If Mame core of Retroarch edit Retroarch in LB and make sure the option to Extract the rom is not checked. Also wether you are using standalone Mame or Retroarch make sure in the "Associated Platforms" tab of the emulator settings in LB you have the name of the platform you imported the Mame roms into showing. The name there needs to match the platform name exactly. To confirm this in LB go to >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit the emulator. Then click on the Associated Platforms tab. Pleasure dome is the best spot for Mame roms. You need a torrent client to download the files.
Kevina555
Hello ! Thanks for the answer. It really helped for pleasure dome. For the other question, i finally fixed the issue by puting all the roms in the "Rom" folder of Mame. I'm using standalone Mame. I have one last question : is there a way to sort the Mame games by machines instead of having it sorted by themes like Fighting games, Maze games etc. Thanks again for your time,
