All of my connected devices like guns arcade sticks and mice are not showing up in retroarch and they're all some default retro Nick 64 controller.....

Guys I'm wondering how I can fix my retroarch build with launch, box all of my connected devices are no longer displaying and I can't get my controls to work anymore they're dragonrise sticks but they're showing as retro Nick, I also have a a trackball that used to show up and two  light guns but nothing is showing up in the menu anymore, I don't understand how all my connected devices can just disappear, from the menu

I would just like to get a completely clean install of retroarch with that with launch box configuring it for me like it did the first time please someone how do I do this

Just download it from the Libretro website, set it all up how you want it to and then add it to LB like any other emulator.

Embarrassingly enough I couldn't figure out how to download it from the site, there's a lot of folders and stuff and nothing is clearly marked I'm kind of dumb man

Download the 64 zip file one and extract it to the location you want it.

Also I managed to figure out how to do this and my controllers are still messed up and don't work, it keeps defaulting to the wrong controller profiles upon loading for the first time no matter what I do when launch box send it up the first time everything was fine but trying to repair it I can't do it
