Big Box Attract Mode Manual Operation

I have a Big Box setup with multiple spinners, light guns, yoke controls, etc. that prevent Attract Mode from starting.  Is it possible to turn on/off Big Box Attract Mode manually?  One workaround I am currently using is starting the Themes Demo which helps prevent burn in on my OLED screen, but attract mode is better.  Thanks for your help.

It seems attract mode will only activate outside of the Game Discovery Center.  I generally start Big Box in the Discovery Center so that is why it would not start instead of my inputs preventing it.

Hi @B-17 Bomber hope you're well. I've looked into this and Attract isn't currently supported from the Game Discovery Center. 

That said, to answer your original question, there is a keyboard/controller mapping that you can set to `Start Attract Mode`. So you can use this shortcut to start Attract Mode manually.

I'm not 100% sure how your additional controls are accepting inputs, i.e if they are constantly sending inputs that stop Attract Mode from starting, you may want to consider turning off `Use All Controllers` In `Options > Controller` so that only your designed controller can control Big Box.

Thank you @AstroBob for your detailed response to my inquiry.  I will setup a hotkey for Attract Mode which will provide some additional flexibility beyond the timed option.  I am grateful to the LaunchBox community and developers for their outstanding work.  Sharing the games I poured quarters into many decades ago with my family has been a real pleasure.  Best regards.
