Android home app capability?

Hi LaunchBox team and community,

I think LaunchBox on windows is amazing and love that it is able to replace windows explorer so I was hoping for something similar with LaunchBox for Android. I've been using BigBox on windows and bought the Android license, but realized that LaunchBox is not able to do everything I need. I want to replace Daijishou on my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, however, LaunchBox isn't recognized as an application that can function as the home app. Daijishou does this perfectly, so I'm still using that on my RP4. This function is essential to how I use Daijishou on my handheld retro gaming device. Is there any plan to add this to the Android version of LaunchBox? Is there a way to make this work now that I am completely missing? Please let me know because I would love to use LaunchBox on Android since I bought a license for it. Thank you!

I believe there are apps on the app store that will help the app do what you're asking. We had it in the app but it broke functionality with things like Samsung Dex which require the app NOT be a home app to work properly and so it was removed quickly after.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. It looks like it won't be added. I'll keep using Daijishou as my home app then.
