Filter option for Retroachievements not showing all games that have achievements

still on RA... i discovered that using the filter on the top left of LB i am able to filter achievements yes or no... i utilized this filter to make my RA playlists... now i quickly went to RA website to compare some games and for example in Gameboy there is 422 titles that have achievements.... but the filter in LB only recognizes 14... 1 title for example is Asterix. This title doesn't show if you enable the filter, however if i click on Asterix, on the bottom right side it does show achievements

the achievements on the right side... is there like a tag or something that generates it? Cause as you can see, the filter opton on the top isn't correct / getting al the games

thanks

Hi @vic_vp, thanks for reporting this. A few things to try to narrow this down:

- If you enable badges for retro achievements, do the same games that appear in your filter, show badges?

- The games in your library need to be using the correct ROM file to match with RetroAchievements. I'm assuming you've checked this but just to be sure, for the example game (Asterix), si the ROM file the correct version as indicated on RetroAchievements site?

- What is the `scape as` value set for that platform (GameBoy)?

- Does this happen for any other platforms in your collection, or is it just for Game Boy?

Let me know and we'll see if we can get you sorted

gonna stick with gameboy here as the console... edit to my OP... GB has 17 games with filter showing achievments yes

1. badges enabled...does not change amount. still have 17

2. yes although it is zipped

3. scrape as Nintendo Game Boy

4. yes happens to several other apperently... GBA shows 7, RA shows "viewing 590"

hmmm i may have discovered something... i just ran the achievements scan in the tools section and now i have 354 agames with achievements.... maybe he others is due to rom mis naming

i feel dumb but glad i got a much biggr step closer!

Thanks for the update, apologise I should have mentioned from the start, that yes you will need to scan your library for achievements if order for the badges and filters to pick up on them. I should note, you also need to re-run this scan for new games added to your collection since the last scan.

All of your other settings look fine, so if there are still games not showing as achievements even though there are set, then it's likely the ROM hash doesn't match that that is required by retroachievements. Remember that it's not just the ROM filename, the actual hash of the ROM your using needs to match.

Let me know how you get on, glad to see your getting closer to it working
