Game location paths not matching on new PC

I just had to move my setup to another PC, I've used the above procedure but I still end up not being to launch any games.

Games show as "Unavailable" when I select one instead of the "Play" button. If right click a game -> File management -> Open game folder, I this message : "The specified application folder for this game does not exist."
As mentionned in the procedure I made sure my platforms games paths were correct and they were still intact (games outside of the Launchbox folder), just to make sure I even edited the path to manually select it again.

As far as emulators go, I'm not even able to launch platforms using Retroarch which is located in Launchbox\Emulators\Retroarch.

I moved my installation from W10 to W11 24h2 fwiw, since I copied over all of the existing Launchbox folders, what could be causing this issue?

Update:

Sure! The games are stored outside of Launchbox directory.
If I go to Tools > Manage > Platforms, every platform is using the correct directory for the games.
But, the problem lies within the games metadata as you pointed that I should check out. They are pointing to another drive letter, so of course it doesn't work.

Now that the problem has been identified, what would be the most efficient way to fix it? That field isn't shown it the edit wizard so I'm under the impression that the most efficient way would be to delete all games from LaunchBox and import them back after?
Also, why is it that this metadata field isn't using the platform identified folder for games?

Hi @BlindGuyMcSqueezy

Thanks for narrowing this down, so I'm guessing the paths in your game "Application Path" is something like "D://Games/... whereby it's actually specifying the drive letter and location first, right?

Can you let me know what you have specific in your Platform settings as the game location and an example of what is being shown in your game's application path?

Let me run this by the team if there's a better way to fix it rather than deleting and re-importing and I'll get back to you.

Hi @BlindGuyMcSqueezy thanks for bearing with me there.

I've run some tests and the best way to do this would be to select all his games for a platform and go to Tools > File Management > Change ROMs folder path for selected games

This will let you set the new directory which should update the application path for all your games.

Let me know if that works for you

Cheers,
