I experienced long load times on games on my Retroid Pocket 5. I also had a situation where Android was telling me that launch box has stopped responding and to choose either close or wait.

I chose wait every time it popped up. It eventually loaded and ran. That error message didn't always pop up but when it did that's what I did retroarch did the same thing. Not sure if the situation's the same for you but waiting it out worked for me but too long of a wait and it's not working. Make sure retroarch has all its system files, as well as any necessary bios. Also, in retroarch, in directories, make sure your default directory is set to the root of your games path and for PSP make sure you have PPPSP installed and set up and make sure launch box is using PPPSP for the emulator and make sure it is pointing to the correct game files. Hope that helps.

Hi @kearnel

There's a known issue on Android at the moment, whereby if you have the Show Play Time Tracking Prompt option turned on in your preferences, but you are blocking notifications to LaunchBox at the Android level, then games will get stuck on the loading screen.

To fix this, either turn off this Show Play Time Tracking Prompt option in LaunchBox's options or allow notifications to the LaunchBox app in Android notification settings.

We're hoping to have this fixed up soon, but let me know if changing this doesn't address your issue.
