thisvampireheart
I plan on using 2 SD cards with a recent install on an Odin2. Will there be any issues if my launchbox install is on the device but all the metadata files are on the sd cards? I plan to have one SD card with 1 platform and the other with the remaining 2 platforms. The issue I'm concerned about is the option within launchbox android that says "Data Folder: /storage/DTH9-T79V/Launchbox" Presumably this would need to be changed after each SD swap. Am I correct in understanding this?
AstroBob
Hi there, thanks for the great question! To clarify, on Android, it’s not possible to split the media section of LaunchBox into a separate directory as you can on Windows. All media must remain within the LaunchBox directory, which can be located either in local storage or on an SD card. However, with games, those can live anywhere. When you import games, LaunchBox references the file paths where the games are stored, allowing you to split them across multiple SD cards if you wish. Hope this helps clarify! Let me know how you get on.
