ChunkyLoverMark
I'm having issues getting the YouTube videos to play for each game (Not the locally downloaded video from EmuMovies, as they do work) in Launchbox on my Pixel 8 Pro running Android the QPR2 Beta update. This is the guide I was following: Launchbox Tutorial These are the steps that I followed: Menu/Options/Video Streaming - Enable Video Streaming Optimize Library Go to a game and it should be playing a video (but doesn't) Text does appear that it's downloading a video even though I've chosen to stream the videos but nothing plays. I'm not sure if this is because of the Android Beta software I'm running, or if this is a bug with Launchbox.
AstroBob
Hi Mark, Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately, YouTube recently changed something on their backend which broke the way we stream videos. We're looking into ways we can address this. I'll try and update you once we have a better idea of when you can expect this to be fixed. Thanks for bearing with us in the meantime. Cheers,
Ravippe
I was experiencing the same problem and it took me like 2 days to figure out My entire video collection for mame.. was somehow not in the correct MP4 format. It would actually play windows and some of Android video players but I noticed it wouldn't play in CX explorer.... It said bad video or something... So after I downloaded a new set it worked fine again. Remember MP4 is just a container there are lots of compression that goes inside of it whether it's x265 or x264 try and use that and see if that fixes the problem maybe try one video and see if it works and then you can download the rest When I downloaded I Google searched Mame video snaps SQ Not going to give you the site but you get the idea Edited December 31, 2024 by Ravippe
ChunkyLoverMark
Hi Ravippe, Did you comment on the right post? This is for streaming YouTube videos, not local MP4 files.
