Oz1979 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi everyone, I'm having an issue importing ScummVm games into Launchbox. The folder in the right are the .bat files created by EpicFail's Launcher I did this process like 20 times and at the moment of import the .bat files do not show up on Launchbox. I'm positive I'm doing something wrong, but any help or recommendation will be greatly appreciated Thanks! Quote
C-Beats Posted January 13 Posted January 13 When users report they've imported games but don't see them it's almost always because an auto-hide feature is enabled. Inside of LaunchBox go to the View menu and look in the Show/Hide section. Make sure none of the options stating "Hide Games Missing..." is enabled. Quote
retroD999 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) @C-Beats I think the problem is that when @Oz1979 imports the folder, Launchbox uses the folder as the game and does not find the bat files as the games to import I just realised after creating a thread on this forum that I am having the exact same issue, although I am trying to import .scummvm files to run the games in retroarch as the emulator. If I import a folder with all the scummvm files, it tries to import 1 game with the file's folder as the application path (as in the OP's image).. It does not find the files inside the folder and add them as games. If I drag multiple files instead, it wants to add multiple copies of the same parent folder, not the individual "launcher" files. (similar to the same image on the first post, but multiple rows of the same thing) There doesn't seem to be a way to point the importing tool to single files for scummvm like it used to.... If this is the intended behaviour, is it possible to turn this feature off? Edited January 14 by retroD999 Quote
retroD999 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 @Oz1979 in case it may be of help, I have put together a guide on importing files "as files" not folders for ScummVM. (towards the end of the link below) I have used it to import ".scummvm" files, but it should import any type of file. It's just a workaround to bypass the new ScummVM import feature that forces to set folders instead of file paths Quote
