Recently after the newest update whenever I press the start button on my controller it auto shuts down the entire emulator. I don't have any hotkeys on either Duckstation itself or LaunchBox that are set to shut down the emulator when I press the start button so I'm unsure why this keeps happening. Whenever I try the emulator directly it doesn't have this issue, it only does this when I start a game directly from LaunchBox. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I'd very much appreciate it because I love launching my games from LaunchBox because it's quick and easy for me and I don't want to have to go into Duckstation directly every time I want to play my PS1 games.

Hi there, can you confirm you don't have any shortcut set for the Exit Game short, under Options > Game Controllers > Shortcuts

You also mention this happens with Duckstation, does this issue also apply to other emulators?

And finally? What sort of controller are you using?

Let me know and we'll try and get you sorted

I checked where you said to but it says "This function is only available for LaunchBox Premium." so i can't change it even if I wanted to. And no this only happens when I use DuckStation, every other emulator doesn't have this issue. And lastly I use a PS4 controller connected through usb.

Thanks for the update, at this point we need to start trying to rule out what could be the cause here, starting with the controller itself.

Do you happen to have another type of controller you could connect as your primary, and try launching Duckstation through LaunchBox. If the issue isn't present it may be something to do with the DualShock 4's controller mappings.

Could you give that a try and let me know how you get on.

I tried a different PS4 controller as well as an Xbox one controller and it still happens with all of them. I really do hope that this issue is with the emulator itself and not with LaunchBox.
