GamingVamps Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Hello all, Ive recently gotten in to the realm of emulations as i was thinking of some of the older games i used to play. I found Launchbox, and thought i would give it a try. However, after a fresh install of 13.18 on Windows 10, neither program will fully launch. I see the LB loader screen, but it stops about 25-35% of the way and just quits. any window that should or would show up for BB after the splash fails as well after the black screen. looking through some of the op here, ive found that some of the files aren't there. What do i need to do to get this to possibly work. ===System Specs=== Windows 10 (upgraded fully as of 2-10-25) AMD rx 580 gpu 24gb ram 1 TB SSD hosting the game roms 2 monitors via DP and HDMI if anything else is needed, please let me know. C-Beats Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Sounds like you're missing the .NET Core 3.1 runtime which is required by the chrome version we are using. You can download it from here Quote
GamingVamps Posted February 11 Author Posted February 11 Thanks C Beats, however that did NOT help and im still crashing. here is the newest crash log. C-Beats Posted February 11 Posted February 11 I'd run the installer over the application again. It won't overwrite your data. A lot of the time those dlls get removed by overzealous AV software since it has a full browser within them it views it as an insecurity. Quote
GamingVamps Posted February 11 Author Posted February 11 so, after re-installing over the application im still not loading up. Ive added (as a just in case measure) the launchbox folder to the exclusion list for windows defender. everything im seeing in the event viewer is looking the same. The only AV i have is windows defender and clamav. im at a bit of a loss here. what's next? Quote
