Achlys Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) Hi, I recently installed Windows 10 Home 21H1 on my GPD Win 2021 because I don't like Windows 11. I tried to install Launchbox 13.19, but when the installer prompts me the systems DirectX SDK install message, Yes or No, I click Yes, and it crashes. And If I try to go to the temp folder where de DirectX SDK installer is supposed to be, the folder doesn't exist. The system message prompt shows this path: "C:\Users\Achlys\AppData\Local\Temp\is-K5MUA.tmp\DXSETUP.exe" /silent Thank you very much, Achlys Edited February 13 by Achlys typo Quote
AstroBob Posted Monday at 01:32 AM Posted Monday at 01:32 AM Hi there, Thanks for the report here, may I confirm a few things to try and narrow this down: Are you updating an existing build to 13.19, or are you installing a brand new instance of LaunchBox? Does the crash happen consistently? I.e if you re-run the installer, does it continue to crash at this stage? If you're updating a build, can you use the same installer located in LaunchBox\Updates to install a brand new build, and see if the issue occurs? Let me know and we'll try to get you sorted. Quote
Achlys Posted Monday at 01:10 PM Author Posted Monday at 01:10 PM Hi, - I'm installing a brand new instance of LaunchBox. - The crash happens consistently. I tried more than 5 times, and always crashes at the same point. Thank you very much, Achlys Quote
