JJH79 Posted Friday at 10:19 PM Posted Friday at 10:19 PM Hi all, I've searched the forums and still haven't found a resolution. Fresh Win10 build running 13.19. I've been able to map my Ultrastik 360's to navigate within the LB menus. However, LB does not recognize the buttons on my arcade cabinet so I cannot map anything to be able to launch a game. I've been having to use a keyboard and mouse to navigate which is a giant PITA. MAME is working just fine and the controls are great in game. I'm also running into issues with my Ultrastik's and Big Box but that's a whole separate issue haha. I'd at the very least like to be able to navigate in LB, select and launch a game with the joystick and buttons. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Quote

LaunchBox is meant to be a keyboard and mouse application. Sounds like maybe the buttons are Keyboard Input (vs XInput). A good way to tell is open notepad and press player1-button-5. Does a "z" get typed? If it does, also try this... (this assumes you have a Pause button...) Select a game. Press and hold player1-button-1 and press Pause. If all goes well, you just "pressed Ctrl+P" and the game should start. This may not be ideal. But again, it's intended to be a keyboard and mouse application. Quote
JJH79 Posted Friday at 11:49 PM Author Posted Friday at 11:49 PM Thank you so much! Yeah this was my hunch and the reason why Big Box exists. So you can use your cabinet controls to navigate instead of a keyboard/mouse. Now to troubleshoot my BB issues. When I launch BB and open the menu bar it's in a constant scrolling state. From what I've read it has to do with the Ultrastik's and their dead zone or lack there of. If you have any insight on that, it would certainly be appreciated. I'll keep fiddling with it until I can get it squared away. Thanks again! Quote
JoeViking245 Posted yesterday at 01:25 AM Posted yesterday at 01:25 AM Sorry. I have zero knowledge of UltraSticks. But I do know that the folks at Ultimarc have been super helpful for other Community members. Maybe not specific to this, but in general. And not to throw out a cliche, but Googling may help. I find it works better than searching the site. Throw in the keyword "LaunchBox" or :BigBox" in your case helps a lot. i.e. "BigBox Ultrastik 360". Quote
