megagarrym Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM (edited) Hi I have LB 13.19 and it everything is great except that it won't generate a favourites child list for ZX Spectrum! It will for every other system on my build, both console and computer. I have several Spectrum games marked as favourite but when I try to generate the Favourites list it says Nothing to Do. It has generated genre playlists for Spectrum but no Favourites. It is only ZX Spectrum that I have the issue with. All the games run fine in retroarch/fuse. Am I the only one with this issue, Any advice on a fix? Edited yesterday at 01:31 PM by megagarrym Quote

Edit your ZX Spectrum Favorites playlist you created and share some screen shots. Specifically, the Auto-Populate tab. Quote
megagarrym Posted yesterday at 03:05 PM Author Posted yesterday at 03:05 PM (edited) Fair comment. I've attached a screenshot with the settings to auto create the Favourites list as I have with every other console and computer. I only want Favourites, not bothered about genres etc. I click Ok and the message on the other screenshot pops up at the bottom right of the screen and no Favourites list under the spectrum at the left hand side. I've attached another clipping to show that I have some favourites. I can create it manually as in the final screenshot, but wondered if I've found a bug. No Missing Playlists makes more sense. I just ran a test on v13.18 and v13.19 and it worked here to 'add the missing playlist'. Based on the actual message it gave to you, makes me wonder, if you switched to the Playlists view (left panel, change from Platform Category to Playlists), if it would appear there. And that for some reason it just didn't nest it under the platform. Maybe look there to see if there're 2 [similar] playlists (the 1 generated and the one you created). The one it generated for me looks like this. Quote
megagarrym Posted yesterday at 09:26 PM Author Posted yesterday at 09:26 PM Joe, you are now on the ever increasing list of people to whom I owe a drink! It was there under playlists with no parents set on the parents tab. I set the parent to ZX Spectrum and went back to Platform Categories view and the auto generated playlist was the with my manually created one. I've got a much better understanding of how it all works now. Thanks a million, Garry. 1 Quote
megagarrym Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago Just as an aside to this, I have now created a Playlist of all Sonic The Hedgehog games, irrespective of which platform it's on, although I had to remove a few non-hedgehog related titles (Sonic Wings etc.). I'm going to do the same with Mario as well, and a few others. Easy when you know how!! 1 Quote
