Anarcho Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I managed to import all my SNES games, and install retroarch with all cores trough the Launchbox menu, but when trying to play a game, the screen goes black and nothing happens for a minute then it goes back to launchbox games menu. Is it a retroarch or launchbox problem? Should I try it with different emulators like SNE9X ? Launchbox and roms are on the same SDcard Quote

If it doesn't work, then it's possible the RetroArch that LaunchBox downloaded (or its cores) isn't the one your device needs and you would simply need to download a different version yourself. Quote

Just did it, but now Launchbox cant open the Retroarch I downloaded (and is working!) On manage emulators, I cant point to the retroarch install. It also doesnt recognize the one that is already installed and only gives me the option to download again. How can I point Launchbox to the retroarch install that works? Quote

How can I point Launchbox to the retroarch install that works? Go into the platform in question, click on the top right menu option, enter into Emulator Settings. You'll see a drop down list of a bunch of different RetroArch versions. You'll want to pick the one you installed. I assume if you installed directly from their website you would know whether you downloaded and installed either the x86 or x64 version. Then you'll need to select the exact core you downloaded inside of RetroArch yourself. Sometimes this can be a bit tricky, as we list them out as what their files are called, but RetroArch lists them out as a name that may differ. After that, as long as things match up, you should be good to go. In saying all of that, which version of RetroArch did you end up downloading and installing? Quote
