I'm still facing issues with adding games or media in LB. The problem is inconsistent—sometimes it works fine, but other times it crashes to the desktop without any warning.

Everything worked perfectly in version 13.18, but the issues began with 13.19 and persist in 13.20 and even in the 13.21 beta. The crash typically occurs when I click "Add Image" while editing a game or browse for a game’s executable. The explorer window opens, and after a few seconds, the program crashes back to the desktop.

I can restart LB and occasionally manage to edit the game while browsing for media or the executable. However, the crash might occur again, making it very frustrating.

I've already submitted a bug report but was hoping to find out if anyone else is experiencing this issue. If someone has encountered this and found a solution, I’d greatly appreciate your help.

I moved this out of the beta thread since it isn't beta related.

Anytime LB hard crashes without showing an error message first then the issue is a .NET runtime issue and should appear in Event Viewer in Windows. Open it up and look in the applications logs for error records. There will be two back to back error messages (at least one of them should say something about a .NET runtime error). One of the logs will just say the app crashed and tell you the exe file for the crash. The next log has the actual error and stack trace (will just function calls with line numbers at the end). That message is needed and will point to the cause of the issue. If you can find that post it up here and we can try to help you get the issue resolved.

I have this same issue but with any process in Lanch Box that involves opening the file explorer and attempting to select a specific file, such as adding Emulators, finding ROM files, etc causes crashes. Here's the event viewer error log:
