dalester Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I've been using BigBox for a while. I recently got a 55" 4k TV. Hooked it up to my PC, worked fine for a couple weeks. All of a sudden parts of the interface are missing. The scroll wheel for console select doesn't show. If I try to make that wheel active, I can move between systems but it only shows a flicker of the images on the bar. If I click into a game, parts of that screen didn't display. It looks like vertical and horizontal lines are missing. I'll attach 2 images. It worked before. I just fresh installed Windows and LB but I restored app the systems from backup. Still not working. If I load a game, it works properly. I have an rtx3050 but the HDMI is connected to onboard Intel uhd 770. CPU is Gen 12 Intel. Any idea what could be going on? I tried switching themes, they all do it. Thanks! First image shows black band where the console icons should be. 2nd image shows yellow outline and a partial picture of a cover. Quote
Solution C-Beats Posted April 16 Solution Posted April 16 Intel GPU's have a known issue rendering WPF related to their anti-alias logic. In the Intel Graphics control panel there is a setting where you can either enable or disable aliasing for an application. By default the value is "detect" or "handle automatically" or something like that. You need to set that drop down to either Enable OR Disable. The value you pick really doesn't matter and either will work. For some reason that auto-detect feature makes it so entire chunks of elements don't render correctly though like you are seeing. Quote
dalester Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 (edited) Awesome! Thanks! I looked for the setting in the Intel control software but it kept crashing. I had it search for update but it said it was on the newest version. So I looked for a solution to fix the graphics software crash and found a newer version of the software. Clean installed it and it didn't crash. Still no anti aliasing setting though. But it works properly now. I guess the new software fixed it. Still not sure why it didn't automatically know there was a newer version but manually installing it seemed to work. Thanks again for getting me on the right path! Edited April 17 by dalester Quote
