It doesn't correct the issue but you've been given work arounds to utilize so that you can at least open/use the app. As a refreshing you can navigate to \\LaunchBox\Data\Settings.xml and then look for <GogAutoImport> and set the value in the brackets to "Off" (without quotes) to stop this error from occurring on startup. C-Beats Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Also if you haven't please post a bug report for this issue using the Help & Support > Report a Bug link at the top of this web page so that we don't lose it in the shuffle. Quote
Thank you. But I already answered you previously. This solution doesn't work since I don't have a "Settings.xml" file. Quote

Great, thanks, I'll try that. I thought I was in the right place to address the request directly to the developers, but there's one more step. Quote

Attached is default settings with all auto-imports disabled. Extra this to the root LaunchBox folder and then start the app. Data.zip Quote
rfederer Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 Amazingly, it worked, and I was able to add games. Then I restarted, and I got a new error message: App: LaunchBox Version: 13.21 Theme: NOT SET Type: System.NullReferenceException Site: System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2[System.String,System.String] GetAllApplicationPaths() Source: Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows.Integrations.Gog.Gog.GetAllApplicationPaths() at CodeProducerWatcher.FindDataSchema(CodeProducerWatcher) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows.Data.DataManager.PostMetaProcessor() at RepositoryHelperWatcher.FindDataSchema(Object, RepositoryHelperWatcher) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows.Data.DataManager.MoveMetaProcessor(Boolean isvalue, Boolean containstoken) at TagEventWatcher.FindDataSchema(Object, Boolean isvalue, Boolean containstoken, TagEventWatcher) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows.Data.DataManager..ctor(Boolean bare, Boolean settingsOnly) at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows.Desktop.App..ctor() at Unbroken.LaunchBox.Windows.Desktop.Program.Main(String[] args) Recent Log: 20:07:06 Exception Quote
rfederer Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 In Settings.xml, I have the correct spelling (I didn't need to change it): <GogAutoImport>Off</GogAutoImport> Quote
rfederer Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 In the Data folder, I tested the 8 "clean" files with the 10 "post-launch" files. The error always comes back: when renaming ".old". However, in this Data folder, there is also a "Platforms" folder: - in the clean version, there is no file inside - but in the post-launch version, there is a file It's this file that's causing the problem, in any case: - if I leave it, the error message appears and LaunchBox crashes - if I rename it to ".old", LaunchBox launches perfectly Quote
