Symon Posted Saturday at 02:44 PM Posted Saturday at 02:44 PM So I have everything installed the way I want in Bigbox with the bypass of the bios and login screen and have my own .mp4 boot up video and it all works great. But the next screen is the platform wheel that just says arcade 10 times or whatever. I click on one of those and it takes me to the games vertical wheel screen. How do I get Big Box to directly go into my custom game wheel screen after the boot up video? This is for a dedicated MAME arcade cabinet (no consoles) and I don't want people have to click through extra screens to get to the games wheel. I've seen some other posts about this but they seem to get stuck on the platform wheel first. Couldn't find any youtube tutorials either. I'm sure I'm just missing something in the options. Thanks for your help! Quote

It sounds like you just have the 1 platform (Arcade). So in your case you basically want to have your Default Startup View be All Games. System Menu < Options < Views < Default Startup View: All Games Quote
Symon Posted Saturday at 03:13 PM Author Posted Saturday at 03:13 PM That is very close to what I want to happen. What is that next screen that it takes me to (my theme)? Where I have to press the game their to start it? Would be nice to be able to start the game from the Default start up view rather than going to that next screen if possible. Thx! Quote

The Game Details Screen. 2 minutes ago, Symon said: Would be nice to be able to start the game from the Default start up view rather than going to that next screen if possible. System Menu < Options < General < Skip Game Details Screen Then once you're satisfied, take a look at the other items under Options. There's [potentially] a lot of other cool stuff you could use there. For example, for your hard-core, advanced users, you could map a cab button to Show Game Details Screen. (I use Player 2 button 4 [for whatever reason]) Keyboard mode: System Menu < Options < Keyboard Mappings < Show Game Details Screen Xinput mode: System Menu < Options < Controller Mappings < Show Game Details Screen Quote
Symon Posted Monday at 06:43 PM Author Posted Monday at 06:43 PM So I have the shell startup for Big Box implemented and everything boots directly to my game wheel screen but now I want my sinden lightgun software to boot up with it to play my sinden light gun games in a dedicated light gun cabinet. I search for info on this but nothing specific with the shell startup system. 7 minutes ago Quote
