Cannot sync to Launchbox Database.

Hi,

I lost my sync connection sometime last night, now I can't sync my collection or get media for imported ROMs, the metadata seems fine. Also, not all my plugins are showing, I don't know if this is related to the sync issue.

I did have a similar issue before and had to move my Launchbox install from my external drive to my C:, that seemed to fix things, but now it's happening again. I'd rather not have to find a third hard drive to install Launchbox on!

1st off, you've got a lot of nice 3rd party plugins there.    That said, Third-Party plugins do not (will not) appear in the LaunchBox Plugins Manager.  Only ones that are LaunchBox sanctioned integrated ("xyz LaunchBox Integration" and the "GamesDB Discovery Lists")

 

As for the media issue, I'm not sure.  You might try force updating your local database file.

Tools < Download < Force Update Games Database Metadata...

I tried here and it worked as expected.  

I'm not savvy enough to know what SSL connection actually means (without googling it).  Hopefully someone in-the-know can chime in if it doesn't resolve itself or you can't find a workaround.

I did a search and got this

I've not messed around with anything settings that would cause that to happen on my end, and you got it working fine your side. I even tried turning off my firewall and trying everything again got the same results, so I am stuck on what to do.

It was nice while it worked, guess I'll get downloading image packs!
