So I have a auto-playlist that create list of games that don't have any metadata from the Launchbox DB. Specifically dealing with a few games that are missing LaunchBox DB pages so I created an account, added them to the database with the metadata as well as photos that I could find. They were all approved and are showing up on the website database when searching. However, when in Launchbox and I search for the metadata, it comes back with no results. It's been a few days since the approval but are still not showing up in Launchbox when trying to update the metadata. Is there a different database that gets pulled and updated from the website for the Launchbox program? I searched for this info but came up short.

Also I've got the popup that says the metadata needs to be updated within Launchbox and updated it but it still isn't showing the games I've added specifically.

The DB file you download from in-app is generated once per day and like 2A EST (or somewhere close to that). Anything approved since then won't be in the file. You also need to make sure LB has the latest local file and you can force that download in the Tools > Download menu. The logic in Add/Edit Game is a bit looser and can show you several results where the bulk tool does not. I'd attempt to go to a single game you know should be in that file and use the search tool in the Edit Game window and see if you can find it that way for starts. It may help shake out why you're not seeing anything.

If it still doesn't work provide a few links to the games that aren't working for you and we can do a deeper dive into it.

Thank you, I was able to get it resolved. When going into each games individual metadata page, I would always search for the name and Launchbox would sometimes show a popup saying "Would you like to update metadata?" and I would click yes. Did this a few times and it would update but still not find the games I added. However, when I updated it manually through the Tools > Download > Force Update Games Metadata, it worked and I was able to find them.
