hyper92 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) Ok, so a bit of a noob here so bear with me. I've gone through the entire list of mame roms in launchbox and I've deleted like 5000 roms that I didn't care about keeping in the list (in launchbox only). And then I got a trojan and after reformatting, had to go through the entire process of setting up and tailoring to my interests all over again...a long long process lol. So in the event that I have to reload mame and launchbox again in the future for some reason, is there a save file or script or something that I can copy and put on my external storage and later post into either mame or launchbox to keep my list of games that I chose to keep? Just to clarify, I deleted only the launchbox listings, not the actual rom in mame. Edited 20 hours ago by hyper92 Quote
Solution C-Beats Posted 10 hours ago Solution Posted 10 hours ago Anything worth saving is found in your Data folder. If you have backups enabled in LaunchBox it'll automatically back up that folder into a single archive and stick it in the Backups folder. It'll keep the last 10 backups at startup and shutdown for easy roll back. You can also manually create a backup file via the LaunchBox interface and store that somewhere you want as well. Quote
