ricktn1 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I've only just noticed this, but any playlist by Genre I generate, some categories are missing the clear logo image. Categories missing the image, whatever system I create the playlist for, are always Beat 'em up, Fighting, Flight simulator, Platform, Puzzle, Racing, Shooter and Sports. I've just spent the past few hours manually adding them to all my systems (so they look nice in Bigbox) from the "Launchbox/Images/Media Packs/Platform Clear Logos/Nostalgic Platform Clear Logos/Playlists" folder so they definitely exist. Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue? Added a couple of screenshots to show what I'm seeing. Quote
ricktn1 Posted June 15 Author Posted June 15 (edited) Ok, seeing as I've had no replies, I installed Launchbox on a different drive and still have the same issue. Adding the clear logos manually seems to override the video/snaps too so, seems to be a bug - I'll report it. Edited June 15 by ricktn1 Quote
JoeViking245 Posted Sunday at 11:54 PM Posted Sunday at 11:54 PM You never said what version you're on. v13.22-beta-4 resolved an issue where missing images weren't falling back to the Nostalgic folder. It might be worth a look. Quote Fixed: Badges now fall back to the Nostalgic pack if your current pack is missing a specific badge 1 Quote
ricktn1 Posted Monday at 12:06 AM Author Posted Monday at 12:06 AM Sorry, 13.21. I'll take a look the next time I'm at my computer, cheers. 1 Quote
ricktn1 Posted Tuesday at 02:43 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 02:43 PM So, I tried the 13.22-beta-4, it still has the issue. I installed Launchbox on a different drive, updated to the beta, the issue happens there too. Just to test again, I tried again on a third drive, same issue again. Thanks for the advice though. Quote
Solution JoeViking245 Posted Tuesday at 03:13 PM Solution Posted Tuesday at 03:13 PM In your \LaunchBox\Images\Media Packs\Platform Clear Logos\Nostalgic Platform Clear Logos\Playlists\ folder, for your example image, what is the file name? Nintendo 64 Fighting.png Fighting.png (Green is good. Red is bad.) Quote
ricktn1 Posted Tuesday at 03:25 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:25 PM I've taken a screenshot of that folder, I have not manually changed names or anything in here, it is all default. I'll just add if I haven't been clear, this happens on all systems and always the genres I listed in the initial post. Quote
ricktn1 Posted Tuesday at 03:29 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 03:29 PM (edited) Actually, you just sparked my head. I've removed "games" from the logo names, others changed names to how they appear - they now appear!! only one I can't figure out is Beat 'em up. Thanks. Edited Tuesday at 03:35 PM by ricktn1 1 Quote

Thanks. Good to hear. As you discovered, the playlist image filename needs to be the exact same as the playlists' Nested Name. 1 Quote
