EmuMovies not working with MAME full ROM set

Hi, when I try to download EmuMovies media for my MAME Arcade games (I have a lifetime subscription of EmuMovies Premium), it always takes forever scanning EmuMovies for Arcade media, and when it finally finishes it always downloads around 1-8 pieces of media before stopping entirely. I’ve tried reimporting the games too, and it’s still scanning for Arcade media. This has been happening only for Arcade games since I bought my subscription back in February. How can I get this fixed? Thanks!

Just curious, have you tried grabbing the arcade files you want using the EmuMovies Sync tool to verify the problem is with LaunchBox?

Trying it right now, but how do I get it to put the media in the corresponding LB folders?

Using the EmuMovies Sync tool to put the media into the LaunchBox folders isn't easy, or automatic. The easiest thing, for me, is to configure the tool to download to a temporary location, then manually move everything afterwards (select the entire contents of a folder and cut/copy and paste to the appropriate LB images folder.

How long would that take for a full MAME romset?

It really depends on which categories you intend to download. If you select "All", that could take some time, however not hours or anything like that.

If you are after a complete set, or as much is available, I would recommend downloading from the EmuMovies ftp site. That would not take much time at all. The MAME section is quite complete and currently hosts 117 archives.
