Custom Badges for Custom Fields and Existing Metadata Fields

I know you can replace existing badges with your own, and you can add your own custom badges for your own custom progress types, but is there any way to create more "general" custom badges to use with your own custom / existing fields? 

For instance, if I wanted to make my own "fan translated" badge for marking fan-translated Japanese games that used a "fan translated" custom field with "yes/no/(none)" values, is there any way to do that? 

What about creating badges based on other existing metadata fields like genre? Is there any way to create my own "genre" badge for games so that it shows up based on what the game's genre is? Could I have multiple badges for multiple genres? 

I didn't see anything like Badges > Game Attributes > Enable Custom Fields > (custom field dropdown) so I figured probably not, but just thought I'd ask.
