Trouble updating images

I try to multiselect games that are missing images, but I'm having trouble with a blank window which shows no options. I want to just select every game in the category and do the same process, but it doesn't work either with the blank options in the add media window. I've tried to multiselect and add images when it does show up, but it updates metadata, clears image cache and just stops without adding the images. I know I have to be doing something wrong, so any help is appreciated.

When you multi selected games, did you then try Tools - Download Metadata and Media for selected games?

When you Add a new game (2nd screenshot), to find images, the games need to have an associated LaunchBox Database ID. It would show in the Metadata section of your 3rd screenshot.

I had to leave download metadata checked. Leaving it unchecked made it fail the rest of the process but I was trying to save some time by not having it scrape all over again all the games.

When you select multiple game then go to Tools < Download < Update Metadata and Media for Selected Games..., you want to leave checked Search for game information in the local metadata database (recommended).

On the next screen (and 2 if you have an EmuMovies account) select the image you want to download.

Then select Yes, but do not replace any existing fields or media (recommended). And Finish.

This will only update the games you selected.
