MaineBear Posted Thursday at 02:33 PM Posted Thursday at 02:33 PM I just installed Launchbox and RetroArch on a new computer. I copied by Launchbox files over, so when I start it all my roms show up, but without the files of course. I can't figure out where or how to change the location of the rom files for complete systems or change the path for Retroarch. I'm using Launchbox 13.2. Thanks for the help! Quote
C-Beats Posted Thursday at 02:45 PM Posted Thursday at 02:45 PM Select the games needing moved (per platform) and Tools > File Management has a window to point them to a new root folder. For RetroArch Toos > Manage > Emulators and then pick the emulator you need to change the path to and press edit and correct the application path in the edit form. Quote
MaineBear Posted Thursday at 03:49 PM Author Posted Thursday at 03:49 PM I did that, but they all still say unavailable. Inside the folder each rom is in a folder. Would that make a difference? 1 hour ago, C-Beats said: Select the games needing moved (per platform) and Tools > File Management has a window to point them to a new root folder. Solution C-Beats Posted Thursday at 03:53 PM Solution Posted Thursday at 03:53 PM 2 minutes ago, MaineBear said: I did that, but they all still say unavailable. Inside the folder each rom is in a folder. Would that make a difference? Yeah, would make a huge difference, you'd essentially have to do it then for every file. May be faster (though more risky) to just do a string replace in your data files. Open em up in a text editor and use search and replace to replace the old path with the new one. Quote
