davekris2017 Posted Thursday at 11:27 PM Posted Thursday at 11:27 PM I have Windows 10 and am trying to play Sega Model 2 but keep getting this Error Show in the picture. Quote
Solution launchretrogirl2562 Posted Thursday at 11:41 PM Solution Posted Thursday at 11:41 PM requires elevation means the emulator2 is asking to be run with administrative privileges. Right click on your 'emulator2.exe' and select properties. Then go to to compatibility tab. It is the setting I highlighted in yellow. But before doing that. Ask first why that program needs those privileges. Most applications can (and should be able to) run without admin privileges. Quote
launchretrogirl2562 Posted Thursday at 11:44 PM Posted Thursday at 11:44 PM Where did u download the sega model 2 emulator from? Cause I also run sega model 2 but I don't need admin privileges, nor does the emulator.exe ask for it. Context : No, the Sega Model 2 emulator generally does not require elevated rights (like "Run as administrator") to run on most systems. It's a user-mode application and should function normally with standard user permissions. However, specific configurations or security settings on your computer might require administrator rights for certain actions, but this is not inherent to the emulator itself Quote
