Troubleshooting While Opening Manuals with Adobe Acrobat via Launch Box

When I try to open a game manual directly in Launch Box with Adobe Acrobat the manual doesn't open and a process starts in Task Manager, so I have to finish the process manually to Adobe work again. But unfortunately the manuals don't open via LB, with other PDF program it works perfectly (Foxit PDF, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and others).

 

Does anyone know what I can do to make game manuals open with Adobe Acrobat via Launch Box?

We just tell Windows to open the file in question, we don't even tell it what app to use to do so. If you're running into issue may point to a bad adobe install. All we're doing is the same thing that happens when you double click a file in File Explorer.

There's something wrong, I reinstalled Acrobat and the error  stills happening. I can open a PDF in File Explorer but I can't open the same file in LB.

 

Well, the error is reported, I'm using Windows 11.

I FOUND A SOLUTION:

In Adobe Acrobat find: Menu > Preferences > Security (Enhanced)

Disable the option: "Enable Protected Mode in Start Up", confirm "Yes". Restart Adobe Acrobat. Try to open a Manual in Launch Box.

Worked for me.
