Hi, I am a noob. I have set everything up, but when I go to play games on consoles like the Sega Master System, both edges of the screen are cut off by the side banners. I think the game is being rendered in 16;9 and not 4;3. How did I correct this? Thank you for any help

That's how Sega Master System rolls. You could either remove the Bezels, or you could press F1 when you are playing a game, scroll down to Core Options > Video > Core-Provided Aspect Ratio and set an aspect ratio that fits your Bezel. You may then need to go back a level, then enter into Manage Core Options and choose to Save Content Directory Options.
