kam712398 Posted September 18 Posted September 18 (edited) https://www.theverge.com/news/780388/microsoft-xbox-fullscreen-mode-windows-11-handheld-leak In the article shows that other programs, other than Xbox app, can be set in the windows settings for a better handheld experience. Not sure if someone else posted this already, but hope to see this gets integrated so that Launchbox users can take advantage of this feature. One reason is lower ram usage overall, so that BigBox is less of a burden running in the background. Please also investigate ways to further lower system resources when big box is in the background while a game is running at the same time. jiboreid Posted September 18 Posted September 18 I completely agree, being able to boot directly into bigbox with the performance save here would be a dream Quote
Digaomatias Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Plus one on this for me as well. I was looking for this and found this thread! Quote
AstroBob Posted September 22 Posted September 22 This is a great idea! We’ll need to evaluate it further once Microsoft officially releases the feature, but it definitely sounds like something that could benefit LaunchBox/Big Box users. In the meantime, we’ve gone ahead and created a feature request for it here: 👉 https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/windows-11-handheld-fullscreen-mode-integration Feel free to add your vote and any additional feedback there so we can gauge interest!
